Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre

2684-2690 Gold Coast Hwy, Broadbeach QLD 4218

To help you plan your journey to APVRS 2026, we’ve prepared a comprehensive guide for international and domestic travel into the Gold Coast, along with transport options to reach the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).

We strongly encourage delegates to arrive one day prior (at least) to ensure smooth travel and allow buffer time for delays or missed connections.

Arriving in Australia

International delegates are suggested to transit via major airports to Gold Coast Airport (OOL):

Transit Information
  1. Melbourne Airport (MEL)
One of the major airports in Australia. International arrivals land at Terminal 2 and connecting domestic flight to Gold Coast requires transfer to Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, depending on their airline. The terminals are located in the same complex and are easily accessible on foot, with a walking time of approximately 5-10 minutes. After clearing immigration and customs in Terminal 2, delegates can follow clear signage to the domestic terminals. The maps of the terminals can be found at https://www.melbourneairport.com.au/corporate/maps.
  1. Brisbane Airport (BNE)
A major international gateway with extensive global connections, located in the same state of Gold Coast. Delegates can take a connecting to domestic flight to Gold Coast Airport or direct Ground Transport from Brisbane Airport to Gold Coast. There are two terminals in Brisbane Airport – the Domestic Terminal and the International Terminal. Information about transit can be found at https://www.bne.com.au/passenger/passenger-information/transferring-between-flights.
  1. Sydney Airport (SYD)
Australia’s busiest international airport. International flights arrive at Terminal 1 and domestic flights depart from Terminal 2 or Terminal 3. Airport shuttle services or taxis to transfer between Terminal 1 and the domestic terminals are required. The shuttle service operates frequently and takes about 10-15 minutes. Delegates must clear immigration, collect their luggage, and then proceed to the domestic terminal for their connecting flight. More information and latest update about transport options can be found at https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/parking-and-transport/arriving/international/get-to-your-next-flight#.
