Registration

1: To register as Residents/Trainee, please complete and upload the Trainee Declaration Form onto the congress system. Please see the upload guidelines here.

2: Exhibitors will have access to the exhibition hall only while Trade Delegates will have access to exhibition hall and scientific sessions. Exhibitors include anyone who wish to visit the exhibition hall only. Trade Delegates can be any industry who wishes to attend the scientific sessions. For purchase of exhibitor and/or trade delegates badge, please email us at registration@apvrs.org.  

3: Including non-physician professional, such as ophthalmic nurses, optometrists and orthoptics; non-physician employees of medical facilities, government agencies and educational institutions, such as administrators, technicians, assistants. Registrations made under this category might undergo a review and might be required to provide supporting document for verification. If it is determined that the registration was completed in an incorrect category, the registration will be reclassified and you will receive instructions on how to proceed.

4: An accompanying person can only enter the Exhibition Hall with no access to the scientific sessions. NO certificate of attendance will be provided to accompanying person.

GDP ranking based on GDP per capita, current price provided by the International Monetary Fund (2024). The data was retrieved from IMF Website on January 5th, 2026. In case of any dispute, the APVRS reserves the right to make the final decision.

Early bird and advance discounted advance rates are only applicable to payments made on or before the deadlines specified. 

All the times and dates mentioned on this page are in accordance with Hong Kong Time (GMT +8).

Registrations are individual and CANNOT be shared or transferred.

Individual Registration 

For APVRS 2026, registration payments will be accepted through our congress system starting on January 16, 2026. To avoid system traffic congestion, delegates are strongly encouraged to register as soon as possible. You may view the guidelines for registration .

Group Registration 

For registrations of more than 5 delegates, special rates will be offered. Please complete and submit the Group Registration Form to the APVRS secretariat at registration@apvrs.org. The deadline for group registration is  July 23, 2026.

Invitation Letter

If you need an official invitation letter for visa application, please register and download the letter via the congress system. 

Remarks

Kindly note that the registration is completed only when the registration fee has been settled. During the payment process, Stripe may need time to verify your transaction, which usually will take up to 72 hours. To enjoy the congress to the fullest, please reserve time accordingly.

Data Privacy

Personal information collected through the system will be used solely for the APVRS ID and APVRS Congresses. No personal data will be disclosed to third parties by the Organizer. 

The Congress System has 128-bit SSL encryption on all pages that handle sensitive information. 

APVRS respects your right to privacy and complies with its obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

In practical terms, the information we collect from you may be used in one or more of the following ways: attendance report, congress registration, payment processing, and communications. 

We will take all reasonable steps to guarantee the safety of the data you provide to us and we will only use the data for the intended purpose. However, the nature of the internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet will be 100% secure.

We may share your personal data where you have given permission. For instance, if you attend an industry sponsored event at the Congress and allow your badge to be scanned, this will be taken as consent to share your contact details with the sponsor concerned so that they can follow up with you directly.

We do not disclose your personal data to outside parties except as set out in this policy.

We also reserve the right to enforce our site policies in order to protect our rights and the rights of other individuals in a manner that is safe and compliant with the law.

Non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses. For example, we may disclose the total number of visits to our website.

Online Payment Security

All online transactions are processed by Stripe, with protection of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and support of Verified by Credit Card secure code. Payment details are encrypted under the SSL protocol and transmitted directly to the relevant bank for payment approval and settlement. The Organizer does not collect any credit card information submitted for online payment.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel your registration, a written request stating your full name and registered email address must be sent to the APVRS 2026 Secretariat by email at registration@apvrs.org.

Cancellations received in writing to the Congress Secretariat by June 23, 2026, will be accepted and registration fees will be fully refunded. For written requests received by July 23, 2026, your registration fee will be refunded less an administrative fee of AUD $80 per person, per meeting. No refunds will be given for cancellations made on or after July 23, 2026, or non-attendance at Congress.

Remarks

A handling fee of AUD $35 will be charged for reprinting a badge. Please keep your physical badge carefully. 

Fraud Alert

APVRS does not partner any third party organisation for congress registration. Please be aware of phishing scams approaching delegates pretending to be official APRVS partners. Do not provide personal information such as credit card details to an organisation you do not recognise.
